APCTT
has developed this portal (www.technology4sme.com)
with a view to establish it as a regional
Technology Transfer Marketplace for Asia and
the Pacific. The main target beneficiaries
of the portal are:
- Enterprises, especially the small and
medium scale enterprises (SMEs)
- Technology transfer intermediaries
- Technology/Business infomediaries and
promotional organisations
- R&D institutions/universities
- Consultants
- Venture capitalists, financial institutions,
investors
It is expected that the portal would facilitate
horizontal and vertical technology transfers,
technology capacity-building, promotion and
management of innovation as well as regional/sub-regional
networking and technology trade community
building. It would focus on enhancing the
competitiveness of SMEs by facilitating adoption
of best practices related to acquisition/adoption
of environmentally sound technologies (ESTs).

- Users are requested to register on the
portal in order to avail of the technology
transfer services, subscribe to e-newsletters,
participate in discussion forms and catalogue
shows, and join technology trade communities.
- Registered users would be able to browse
and submit technology offers, technology
requests and business opportunities.
- If you are interested in a Technology
Offer posted on the website, please fill
in the
- Technology Response" form and return
to us along with your company profile.
- If you are looking for a particular
technology which is not featured on the
portal, please submit your requirements
in the "Technology Request"
form.
- If you would like to offer a technology,
please fill in the "Technology Offer"
form

In case of a matching technology offer, technology
request or business opportunity registered
in the databank, your technology/business
profile would be forwarded to the counterpart
for consideration.
Executive Membership
Registered users can join as an Executive
Member by paying the fee of US$ 200 or Indian
Rupees 5,000 (for India/Nepal/Bhutan)
