What is TechMart? |
| |
TechMart is an interactive database that is available over the Internet. The database is a springboard for people interested in Environmentally Sustainable technologies. One of the main goals of the database is to remain current and topical. To do this, individual technology suppliers and seekers are invited to submit technology offers and requests in the prescribed format. Through registration they assign themselves a password and can then come in and update their own entries on a regular basis as the status of the technology changes. |

How can I promote my organization's licensable technologies |

Click on the TechOffer link, You can register for free and post your organization's technologies and profile for free on the TechMart. |

Who verifies the technology entries? |
| |
Each technology entry is reviewed by the Moderator to make sure that the data is complete and relevant. The Moderator, UN-APCTT does not attempt to verify, certify, or test the technology to determine if it meets the technology suppliers claims. The purpose of the database is to match technology holders with potential users and to present as many options as possible. The user should then contact UN-APCTT to obtain additional data concerning the applicability of the technology for a particular need. |

How do I use TechMart? |
| |
First select the technology sector or country that you wish to search. Then there are two ways to search; either by keyword combination or by a detailed search. The Keyword Search is the easiest and is very powerful. |

How do I add my Technology? |
| |
Go to the database that you want to submit your technology offer/request and click on the submit button. You will see an entry screen where the data can be entered. Be sure to fill in the required areas and record your password and username. Remember that your entry will not be visible immediately. It will only be visible after the Moderator has approved it. The main point of contact will be automatically notified via email when the entry is received and when it is approved. |

How much does it cost? |
| |
Techmart is FREE! There is no charge to use it or to list your technology. The purpose behind Techmart is to facilitate the access to technologies with emphasis on environmentally sustainable technologies by matching technology owners with end users. |
