APCTT established the International Network for Transfer of Environmentally Sound Technologies (INTET) in 1994, which was mainly promoted in Asia . The objective of the network is to facilitate transfer ESTs, both manufacturing and cleaning ones, to small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).

The network members/partners include i nnovative SMEs, technology transfer intermediaries/brokers, business consultants, technology/business infomediaries, and promotional and developmental organisations.

Through this portal www.technology4sme.com, APCTT now endeavours to build a larger network by establishing the technology trade community for ESTs and provide technology information, technology transfer and support services.

This would provide a platform for match-making, sharing of information and knowledge on the emerging challenges, opportunites and solutions related to ESTs, and facilitating adoption of best practices and technologies related to ESTs.
