Technology sharing is a very complex activity in the South East Asia region , this is because the region is still lack in harmonization of its laws and ordinance to deal with this matter. There should be a regional standardization within the member countries, as well the standard procedures in adopting into technology transfer from one to another.
First of all the Intellectual property aspect should be dealt before this transfer of technolgy activities can be placed. This is because various country have different rules and regulations as well as the do and dont's of transfer of technology and licensing activities.This aspect of the Act especially patent act should be revised and harmonized to seed this licensing activities and there should be clear rules for this activities to be materialised.
Secondly the R&D institutions should be made aware of the needed technology before it had gone into research and development stage.This will be beneficial to all especially the R&D and the SMEs as well as the start up industries.
The regioanl standards should be dealt in importance basis before this technology sharing activities can take place smoothly and effectively.The harmonization of the Laws and Prosedures should be dealt first before this sharing of Technology can be fruitfull.

Technology sharing is really very good idea. To develop any technology it required lot of effort, hardworking, trial and error, and continual improvement in process quality. Sharing and knowledge up gradation will definitely help some one in that area. Some one should raise thread / topic and area of interest. here I am open to share on organic synthesis topic. Area is very vast but i would like to share technology in this area.
